STEM Programs
Coding
Kanaka Foundation has partnered with industry experts to provide real life training and insight to Native Hawaiian Students interested in coding. We currently provide basic level IOS coding training for student between the ages of 13- 17. Currently, limited to app development for games, but will expand into creating apps for professional growth
Robotics
We believe participation is accessible to kids from any socio-economic background and success doesn't depend on having an engineer for a coach or thousands of dollars of extra advanced parts. Kanaka Foundation will partner will existing foundation and companies that are able to provide robotics coding to Native Hawaiian students.
STEMulate
"STEMulate" is a signature program we intend to set up and invest in the near future. Our goal is to provide training for STEM driven Native Hawaiian Children to prepare them with college readiness skills.
STEM workshops
Kanaka Foundation will invest in infrastructure the next 3-5 years to provide direct in person access to STEM education. This will also double up as a after school facility with a focus on STEM education for a few hours as well as helping them complete homework or tutoring as well.
